Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Tummy Whisperer podcast. We're having fun already this afternoon, on a Tuesday afternoon here. I'm excited to see everybody and talk to everybody about some great fun new information that I have. We are on episode 18 and I've got I got quite a show planned for us. I have recently been introduced to a product that is like the duct tape for the body, so it's so funny.

Speaker 1:

When I first got Rook as a puppy and I was going into the nature's feed here by my, by my house in Spring Grove, they're like you got to use goat milk for dogs. It's like the duct tape for everything helps with like inflammation and GI and all this other stuff. And of course, for Rook he didn't tolerate it very well. We took him off it after a while. But for so many people out there, everybody's tuning in ready to help what's happening in an inflammatory process with their body. So what does inflammation look like? Right, Inflammation is any type of fever, redness, swelling, muscle contraction, any type of hot, any type of something that you feel. That's not normal. That's inflammation. I have people that feel inflammation throughout their body.

Speaker 1:

I have a client who has stage three ovarian cancer. She's in remission and doing quite well. Has stage three ovarian cancer. She's in remission and doing quite well and she always feels like a lot of crowding at her uterus area just because of the cancer. Right, A lot of pain in her hips. You can put all the CBD cream on, you can take THC and have a glass of wine. Whatever you try to do to mute the pain, but nothing really lasts long term and it usually always comes back. The pain, but nothing really lasts long term and it usually always comes back. She started on this amazing magic cream that we found and she's been on it for less than two weeks and her hip pain has gone. Her crowding in her uterus is gone. She's able to walk five miles without any kind of issue. Her repair time, her healing time, is amazing. It's astonishing.

Speaker 1:

So this is an Ayurveda cream actually developed by a naturopathic physician and she's a young, smart, tenacious, wonderful, beautiful soul who's been in this beta trials for these two creams for a few years to try to perfect it. So one is called common uplifting and that helps with nervous system regulation, helps us sleep with so many people when you can't sleep because you have pain or you have anxiety. This cream helps, right, she has another cream, so there's two products called sweet relief and these products. So I want to actually go into some of the herbs that are in there and tell you what they do, Because when you think of detox, you can take all the stuff homeopathy and try to re-regulate everything. But it's a lot to do. There's breathing, there's many ways to detox the body, but I used to think wouldn't it be great to just rub a cream on and go on about your day? Guess what? We found the cream. We found the cream In both of her creams.

Speaker 1:

One of the ingredients is castor oil and I wrote down what a lot of these do because it's unfamiliar to me as far as all the. I know the basics but in terms of the specifics. So castor oil is for nerve pain. It helps in a very. It's anti-inflammatory, it's anti-anxiety, it's good for the liver, it helps actually heat up and cool down the nerves in a very unique way so that it can help repair with nerve tissue, and castor oil is just a great product. You've heard of castor oil packing and people using castor oil for things. So that's in this formula, in a light version, so that it gives the nerves a little weight, but not too much, so it's not real super sticky. Another thing that's in this formula is something called mucuna purines, which is it's a precursor for dopamine and the feel good centers of the brain, right, how do we get that dopamine? I just go hug Rook and I'm like, oh, he's like my dopamine hit right for the moment because he's my baby. But this helps with increasing dopamine, it helps with healing and repair, it helps with collagen, it helps with hormonal balance, it regulates the nervous system in a big way and I love it because the delivery is just on the skin right.

Speaker 1:

Another one of the herbs in both formulas she uses is ashwagandha, which people have heard of for stress. But what people don't know ashwagandha is an old herb that's been around for a long time is that it's an adaptogen, and adaptogens mean they bridge the gap for what the body needs in terms of nutrition, absorption, uptake, all of that. Ashrogondor regulates the hormones. It improves the thyroid function, it improves your sex hormones, which many women my age and younger and older lose the libido and it's from. It's the house that Jack built, right? We look at poor digestion, we look at inflammation, we look at not being able to absorb our nutrients. We're deficient, We've got overgrowths, we don't have good liver fire, which is where our hormones are made. So without being able to have good supportive liver because we're overloaded, we're not going to have good hormonal balance. So we're not going to have good sex hormones. And then add pain on top of that. If somebody's in pain, they're going to use up all their sex hormones to deal with the pain period. So ashwagandha helps to bridge that gap and give the body extra so that the pain can reduce and try to help balance that.

Speaker 1:

Another one and I was actually writing all these things on. There's about 20 herbs in these formulas and before I go into a couple more, she uses a little DMSO in there to help deliver it. There's some glutathione in there, helps with detoxification and I have been using it. My thyroid's a little wonky. I'm like I have a fast thyroid with Graves markers and I have some Hashimoto markers. So I'm fast and slow just because I'm an overachiever. And when the thyroid I know is really on the wrong side of being too fast, my sleep is jacked, my hot flashes are through the roof and I can't get regulated right. So I started using this cream on my thyroid, on my vagus nerve.

Speaker 1:

A lot of people are familiar with the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve gets stuck. It needs a push. It can't deliver what it needs to. If you start delivering nutrition to this vagus nerve, it helps to regulate the rest of the nervous system and the rest of the organs. So I've been using it on the vagus nerve, been using it on my diaphragm for helping with breathing, and it took about maybe four days or so, but it was like all of a sudden I started sleeping better and my hot flashes greatly reduced, Like from I was having maybe I don't know 12 to 15 a day, which is hideous, down to three a day. Oh, wow, yeah, Because it's a way to. It's almost like the backdoor to the nervous system. It's how do you get into the nervous system? There's a lot of ways to do it. There's, you know, there's the emotional work that Dr Carey does, which I'm so excited to see Dr Naomi tomorrow for a treatment, and that's a wonderful way to do it. But when you can help the body by using something that smells good, that feels good, that just helps your body go oh, we've got this, and then starts nourishing your tissues at the same time while gently detoxifying you, it's a win. So I've been loving how I'm feeling on this, the sweet relief.

Speaker 1:

One is great for pain. Any type of pain marks me having some heel pain, his job, he's standing right and it's like a plantar fasciitis. He's on the cream about five days and he said to me I don't want to ask, but I did. I could be convinced that it's definitely better. So he's noticing it. Another ingredient in there is which people know for brain health, but Kava Kava's got a list that's half my page.

Speaker 1:

So Kava Kava is great for nerve health, gut health, anxiety. It's not sedating, it's more muscle relaxing. It's great for painful pelvic areas, as I was mentioning about my client who has that painful area in her pelvis. So many women come to me with bladder issues and painful area in the pelvic region. They're going for pelvic floor therapy, which is great. But when there's so much inflammation from toxicity and waste and inflammation and mucosal lining disruption, you're going to end structural issues. You've got the perfect storm there. Kava Kava by itself can help that and it's in this formula. Also helps with nerve repair and the doctor that formulated it, Dr J, Dr Juliana, she uses it with her patients on their spine for helping with the spine. I'm trying to get her to make like a formula for dogs. I'm to keep bothering her.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to get her to make like a formula for dogs.

Speaker 2:

I'm keep bothering her. I'm like you need a formula for dogs. So many doggies need it for the dog, For those that don't know, we're crazy dog people over here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and if you guys are wondering why my dog isn't moving, it's just my background. Picture my cuties, my booties. It's my boy, little ruck-tuck-tucky. So again, people aren't sleeping because they're in pain or their adrenals are shot or they're having digestive issues or they've got. Their mind is just it's NASCAR, right, it's never shutting off. It's like how do I pay the bills? How do I? What's going on with my family? All the chatter that's going on inside the head? How do I? What's going on with my family? All the chatter that's going on inside the head?

Speaker 1:

This formula and nothing has got any kind of magic cure, but this formula has been just a nice way and the feedback I've been getting from my clients is just to give your body a feels good. I have a dog walking, buddy that's got a knee issue and I gave her a little sample of some and I said you know, don't forget to use it. And she texted me and she said I really like it. I don't have any pain today. So that was just after one application. I know, I know.

Speaker 1:

So this company is even in prelaunch. It's not even like it's available, certainly to the public, but they're still working out the little tweaks, but they have given digestive health solutions and tummy whisperer 20% for anybody who wants to order. So I did email it to you, jeanne. If you want to throw it in the comments, yes. And then, for anybody ordering, there's two formulas you can, and at the bottom of each formula is this video that Dr J talks about each herb that's in there and why it does what it does. And then, of course, you get your 20% off. You have to wash your hands very good before you use the formula and after you're done applying it, because you don't want to take whatever toxins are in your hand and put them on your skin because it will absorb.

Speaker 1:

So there's a golden spoon that you can order for like $23, that you can use to keep the formula clean. So you just wash the spoon after and you use about the dose is one to two teaspoons and I've only been needing one. But I'm like I said I'm putting it on my knees. I don't know if I said I'm putting it on my knees, but I am putting it on my knees. How long have you been using it? A week, but I have a client that had been using it before and, like my one client who's been on it for three weeks, she's just, yeah, I'm, she's. We were walking last week and she's, I just feel good and she pushes through like we want. We'd like to walk the dogs. We'd like to go at least three miles, if not more, and we did five miles in three to 15 miles in three days. The two of us, four of us her and her dog and Rook and myself. Oh, yeah, yeah. So just really phenomenal. It's so nice to be able, in my opinion, to give the body something that it can actually use.

Speaker 1:

Supplements have to get past an incompetent digestive tract. Right, you're asking your body to try to get something out of a capsule. For some people they can't. Some digestive systems cannot absorb and utilize these herbs and supplements that you're taking. Right A, they're either poor quality, b not bioavailable, meaning the body can't recognize it and use it because they're, again, either poor quality. Or even if it's a good quality, how is your body using it and can your body use it?

Speaker 1:

With this cream you have a direct application onto your skin, your largest organ of absorption and detoxification, right into the tissues. It's in the tissues. When you take a pill it's got to get into the tummy and then get dispersed right and converted and then, who knows? It's like a game of telephone If this vitamin C molecule is going to get where it needs to go to make a hormone. It's just a lot for the body to do in this day and age where we have a lot of stress and stress shuts down our nervous system. Again, this cream is a backdoor into the nervous system and it just helps open up the pathways. And it's so gentle and but it's so medicinal when you open up and smell it.

Speaker 1:

It's like this beautiful orange and it's silky and it's a little oily and it just feels good. Sign me up, use the discount code. You can order yourself a bottle and it's just phenomenal. I love it for stress, I love it for a way, even if somebody doesn't have any pain or any digestive issues or any anything, and it's just. I need a little something to take the edge off, and a glass of wine isn't going to cut it, or it will.

Speaker 1:

But using this can be a nice way to help. Again, we're talking about relaxing the nervous system, feeding the tissues, healing and repair all the things we want our bodies to do at night. When you put this on at night, it also has a little bit of CBG and CBN. So CBG is for like happy, uplifting kind of giggles right, but it's nothing psychoactive in there. Just really helps, again, calming and relaxing the nervous system and a way to just regulate the body. And the way I understand she formulated this is so that it's a perfect balance for everybody, Everybody's. I always say there's no one size fits all in nutrition, which is true. Some people need paleo, Some people need carnivore, which I don't love. Some people need some grains, Some people need whatever it is. It's different for everybody, but collectively I would say gluten should be up for all of us.

Speaker 2:

But for this, I'm telling you, as soon as I eat it, I feel like crap.

Speaker 1:

I have a client who her practitioner which kind of pissed me off said let's see if you're celiac. And you know what they do for celiac. You have to eat gluten for two weeks every single day. She was feeling like crap and I said to her you're not celiac, you're gluten intolerant. Is why you're feeling bad. Why do you? I said to her, why do you need a test to prove it? She's like I just want to see the test comes back negative. I'm like so now what she's like? I know I still need to stay away from it. I said and you put yourself through torture for two weeks just for the test to be like guess what, you're not celiac, like that it made no sense to me, but she had so hard not to.

Speaker 2:

There's just so many practitioners that are not very holistic in their thought process and their practice, so it makes it hard.

Speaker 1:

It makes it difficult, but that's because, again, I'm always trying to give people the hacks what's the best way to help you feel better and get your body back online. So I've been having some great feedback with this cream and I want to invite everybody to watch the video. And again, you can use the Tummy Whisperer link for a 20% off. And if it's something that you love, there's always a 10% link for reorders that you can use. It's something that I feel I'm going to have in my arsenal all the time, because sleep and pain those are things that they're synonymous, go together.

Speaker 1:

You can't sleep if you're in pain, and so many people have so much pain right back pain digestive pain, whatever kind of pain they have, and it totally throws a wrench in the spokes for your body. And how do we get that wrench out of the spokes and start to go? Oh, we can pedal a little bit more. Let's get back on this bike and pedal.

Speaker 2:

Let's keep moving the body forward and then we become so acclimated to being in pain that we don't remember what it's like to not be in pain.

Speaker 1:

That is very well put, because our body adapts, and the body always does. It adapts to the pain, because that's how great our bodies are. Our bodies are like, oh, don't worry, we got this. But as our bodies adapt, we get further and further away from really being able to have normal homeostasis or balance, because our bodies are like, oh, butterfly running from this stress, the body's in this state of stress. We adapt, right, we're in more stress. Guess what? We're revving up our nervous system to adapt and it keeps going like that.

Speaker 1:

This cream helps to just go. Oh, you know what? Bear's not here. We're good for the moment. Start to unwind the nervous system. Start to just nourish these tissues, just rubbing it on the vagus nerve. There's no vagus nerve stimulators. It's not like apparatuses. Do you remember the movie Tin Cup with Kevin Costner? Oh yeah, remember when he couldn't hit the ball? Oh yeah, remember when he couldn't hit the ball? He got all those. He had the hat with a pendulum. And Renee Russo goes into the trailer and she's like what are you doing? There's like all these apparatuses for the vagus nerve. The best thing, in my professional opinion, to do is to be able to put something on that could deliver nourishment, and this cream is a great way to do it and you can feel it feeding your organs and you can just feel everything regulating For my hot flashes to go from 15 to 17 a day, down to three that's something right there.

Speaker 2:

I feel like I'm experiencing what is it Perimenopause? Are you starting to get hot flashes Only at night? Yeah, that's Not during the day, but at night. I'm like I suddenly just burn up and I look at MacGyver and I'm like why am I so warm?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and you feel it from the core coming up right.

Speaker 2:

Hot, truly warm, and I'm always cold. It'll be 80 degrees outside and I find a reason to stay cold.

Speaker 1:

Definitely the thyroid is. One is regulates the temperature. But when I was having the severe hot flashes, my sweet husband, I'm like, do you mind if we sleep with the window open? He's like oh, that's fine. He's like in a hoodie, he's got three blankets on. I got the covers kicked off, no clothes on, and it's I don't know 55 in the bedroom and I'm like, oh fuck, I'm so hot. I got my fan here, I, I got my fan here.

Speaker 2:

I turned on the van. I'm like I remember my best friend's mother when she would have, when she was going through menopause, would literally open the freezer door and just stick her head in the freezer.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I've been there, been there and we had a warm weather a couple of weeks ago. It was like in the sixties. I'm like, oh, I'm like, fuck this, this is not good for my thyroid, I need cold, but. But I'm getting more regulated and it's so amazing. I am just you got to order the cream. It's phenomenal, it's good. So I wanted today's show to give people something they can do right away. They can help their body start to settle, start to get healing, repair, nourishment, because how productive can you be with better sleep and less pain? Hello, no, that is the means to a happy day for many people. So 100%.
